Internet Marketing Conference in Stockholm

Last week I participated in the Internet Marketing Conference in Stockholm. My brother Petri Mertanen was also there and I was glad to see his presentation on Campaign Tracking and Marketing Optimization. The link is to his blog Pete Box of Analytics where he has some nice pics about the event and people, also me ;).

There were lots of interesting presentations at the event and it was actually a tough job to choose between presentations as there were two going on at the same time. The ones that I saw and caught my attention the most was Interwoven presenting Multi Variate testing, Web Trends' presenting their Ad Director (a Search Advertising Optimization Software) and Anna Eriksson from Keybroker giving presentation on Proactive and Result-Oriented Search Engine Marketing.

Without being buyest - for true - I also think that Steve Jacson's (from our Analytics Unit at Trainers' House) presentation about the Insight Model was also insightful (and fun with all the bananas). To put it short what the presentation was all about, the Insight Model combines data from different sources and generates a 360-degree view of the visitor.

I definitelly recommend participating, and actually the next IMC is held pretty soon in March in Helsinki.
